Boston Institute of Pseudo-Intellectual Systems

Advancing speculative epistemologies through transdisciplinary para-research since 2023. Exploring the liminal spaces between established knowledge systems.

About BIPS

The Boston Institute of Pseudo-Intellectual Systems (BIPS) is an independent research organization dedicated to the exploration, development, and dissemination of para-academic knowledge systems.

BIPS Institute Building

Our Mission

Founded in 2023, BIPS operates at the intersection of established academic disciplines and speculative thought. We challenge conventional epistemological boundaries and foster intellectual environments where unconventional ideas can be rigorously examined.

Our institute brings together thinkers, researchers, and practitioners from diverse fields to engage in what we term "para-research" - investigative methodologies that exist parallel to, but not entirely within, traditional academic frameworks.

Philosophical Foundation

We operate on the principle that knowledge systems are inherently incomplete and that progress often emerges from the interstitial spaces between established disciplines. Our work embraces productive contradiction, speculative reasoning, and methodological pluralism.
